So I completely slacked on this whole blog thing but last night someone said to me that they think I am funny so of course I was inspired to try all of this again.

Since the last post in March a few important things have happened..
1. I became VERY single (don't worry, I am happy about it now).
2. My brother got married to his MUCH better half.
3. I went to camp.

These will be the 3 topics discussed in this post. If none of those interest you at all, please keep reading anyways. I will try to throw some excitement in along the way!

Topic #1: I finally walked away from a situation I felt stuck in and couldn't be more happier with the way things have turned out. That's about it.. and as uninteresting as that statement was it feels incredibly good to be able to write it with a complete smile on my face! :)

Topic #2: My brother and my now sister had the most gorgeous and fun wedding ever. I couldn't be more proud to say that my older brother found the perfect girl and he has turned out to be a pretty great guy. Even though we don't always get along, he really is the best!

Topic #3: I went to my second home! (sometimes it's more of my first) I couldn't be more excited to spend time with all of my best friends that I only see two months out of the year.

Okay, well I thought that was gonna be more exciting but since it wasn't I guess I'll fill everyone in on what my crazy family is up to.

Ira, the father, is also now single and I think has a better social life than I do! We have been roommates for almost a year now, which is very impressive to anyone who knows us. The family made bets on how long it would take him to kick me out and I am still going strong, so I think I deserve some praise for this!

By the way, if anyone has single Jewish mothers looking for love, send them my father's way!

Wendy, the mother, is still a little crazy but I think that comes with the territory of being a Jewish mother. Recently, she was puppy sitting while my brother was on his honeymoon and was completely worn out after a day.. she also tried to talk to the dog like a person and got frustrated when he didn't listen to her. Obviously, he has listening problems.

Currently I am at my cousin Erik's house with his wife Melinda and his 3 kids. Since I know they will read this I feel like I should give them a shout out! Thanks for letting me sleep here for the night on my day off!

That's all for now, sorry if it wasn't as funny as I think it was in my head. I will try to write more and hopefully my jokes will get better along the way.

Laila Tov!!
(that means goodnight in Hebrew..welcome to Jewish summer camp)

Alright, let's do this!

If you know me at all you know that I could talk for a living. Not that this is me trying to talk for a living but I have been convinced by enough people that blogging is something that I need to start doing on a regular basis.

Here it goes..

I'm going to write this pretending that 1. people are actually reading it and 2. the people reading it do not actually know me (as much as this may be a false statement, just go with it).

I figured that we could start with a little background info because who wants to read a blog if they don't know a single thing about the person?..nobody

I'll start with my childhood-
My parents got divorced when I was 7 but to this day maintain one of the best "divorced parents relationships" and I am probably the luckiest person because of that.
Because of their maturity (sometimes) and the way I got brought up, I like to make awkward situations for them. Example being.. calling them on what would be their anniversary and just reminding them of something that they no longer have.

To me, that's funny. To them, I just become more annoying every July 31st.

I also have a brother, Josh, who you will hear a lot about I am sure.

My parents both got into relationships soon after the divorce and to be honest I could not be more happy with all the extra additions to my life.
My mom, who will often be referred to as Wendy, married Mark who has two sons. Blake and Paul. My wonderful brothers from another mother.

My dad on the other hand has been in a relationship for about 12 years with the same woman, Sharon, but they do not live together and will most likely never get married.

I love my dad and I love Sharon more than anything, but I am pretty sure that seeing their relationship is the sole reason for my fear of commitment and finding all the wrong people, all the time. I mean this in the nicest way possible, however.

There are so many more people and details but what's the fun in writing all this in one post?

One thing you should know about me before deciding to return to this blog, is that I personally think I am the funniest person that I know. This may or may not be true in reality, but in my world, I am the queen of comedy.
As is turns out, my friends think I am not funny at all but seem to still keep me around. I still can't figure out why.

I guess that will be all for my cherry-popping blog
I will be back soon to write more for nobody to read it.

Have a good day everyone!
